The good: Selling 9 figures in a display case for $100 is simply an unbeatable value. The case is very pretty and serves to keep the figures from getting dusty. The lighting effect on the display looks great and even the box itself is beautiful. The figures themselves are mostly great as far as quality and detail go. They have varying levels of articulation and both Charizard and Blastoise shoot their respective elements. The level of effort to protect this in shipping was truly impressive. The display/collector's box was couched inside three other boxes, one of which had it braced by foam inserts. The only very minor damage to the display box seems to have occurred before the unit even shipped.
The bad: While the light on the display case is cool, the switch for it is on the BOTTOM of the box, so you have to lift it up to turn it on. This means picking up the whole display and knocking over your figures. I can't imagine how that particular design decision was reached. The other major issue is that the Charizard figure is poorly designed. There are very visible seams going down the middle that are hard to miss. It's also much more difficult to fire its fireball than it is to fire Blastoise's water blasts. Overall this figure is pretty subpar, but the others are much better.

It shipped at a decent pace and all seemed really good from the outside.
When my nephew opened it, my heart sank. One of the pink leafs on Venusaurs figure, was broken off. Both of us had been really careful handling the box so nothing would be damaged.
Because I see my nephew once a year and lives half a country away, I couldn't take it away from him and try to return it for next years Christmas.
Looking at the packing of it, was concerning. The outside was well protected in three boxes but the figurines (the main point in the product), in the case, only had the thin plastic casings that some $10/$12 barbies are in.
