Going into their 2009 bout, Nigel had been defending the ROH Championship since 2007. But somewhere during the match he suffered an actual torn bicep which resulted in a fight for the ages. Despite a valiant effort to retain his belt, Nigel fell to Jerry by pinfall, ending one of the most memorable title reigns in ROH history.
